Arab-Israeli War (Six-Day War)

In June 1967, war broke out between Israel and three Arab countries: Egypt, Jordan, and Syria. The war resulted in the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian West Bank and East Jerusalem, the Gaza Strip, the Syrian Golan Heights, and the Egyptian Sinai Peninsula. Israel immediately expelled 300,000 Palestinians, the majority of whom were already refugees after being expelled from their original homes in 1948 upon the creation of the State of Israel.
