UNRWA USA aims to educate the American public about the plight of Palestine refugees and generate financial support for specific UNRWA programs: direct humanitarian assistance, human development, and protection for more than 5 million registered Palestinian refugees living in the West Bank (including East Jerusalem), Gaza Strip, Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan.

Palestinian Architecture Preservation

Palestinian Architecture Preservation

RIWAQ preserves collective Palestinian memory through projects that document and restore architectural heritage sites across the West Bank and Gaza. Harnessing the energy and skills of students, architects, archaeologists, and historians, RIWAQ completed the Registry of Historic Buildings, a thirteen-year project (1994-2007) resulting in the publication of three volumes that detailed histories, maps, and photos of approximately 420 villages in sixteen districts across the West Bank and Gaza.
